1. Introduction

Welcome to Jeshurun ("Platform", "we", "us", or "our"). By accessing or using our website at jeshurun.ng, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform.

Jeshurun is a real estate and contracting marketplace connecting property sellers, landlords, agents, and contractors with prospective buyers, tenants, and clients across Nigeria.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use this Platform. By using Jeshurun, you confirm that you are of legal age and have the legal capacity to enter into binding agreements.

3. User Accounts

To post ads or access certain features, you must create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to notify us immediately at jeshurun.platform@gmail.com if you suspect any unauthorised use of your account.

4. Listing & Ad Policy

When you post a listing on Jeshurun, you agree that:

• All information provided is accurate, truthful, and not misleading.
• You have the legal right to advertise the property, service, or listing.
• You will not post duplicate, spam, or fraudulent listings.
• Listings must not contain offensive, illegal, or inappropriate content.
• Property prices must be a minimum of ₦50,000.
• Free plan users are limited to 10 active listings at a time.

We reserve the right to remove any listing that violates these terms without prior notice.

5. Prohibited Conduct

You agree NOT to:

• Post false, misleading, or fraudulent property listings.
• Impersonate any person, agent, or organisation.
• Use the Platform for any unlawful purpose.
• Scrape, copy, or harvest data from the Platform.
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Platform.
• Use the Platform to harass, threaten, or harm other users.

6. Payments & Subscriptions

Jeshurun offers free and paid subscription plans. Paid promotions and subscription fees are processed via Paystack. All payments are in Nigerian Naira (₦) and are non-refundable unless otherwise stated.

We reserve the right to change subscription pricing at any time with reasonable notice to users.

7. No Agency Relationship

Jeshurun is a listing platform only. We do not act as a real estate agent, broker, or representative for any party. We do not verify the accuracy of listings, property titles, agent licences, or contractor qualifications unless explicitly stated. Users are advised to conduct their own due diligence before entering into any transaction.

8. Intellectual Property

All content on this Platform including logos, design, text, and software is owned by Jeshurun. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our written permission. By uploading content (photos, descriptions) to the Platform, you grant Jeshurun a non-exclusive licence to display that content on the Platform.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by Nigerian law, Jeshurun shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Platform, including but not limited to losses arising from fraudulent listings, failed transactions, or inaccurate information posted by users.

10. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time if you violate these Terms. You may also delete your account at any time by contacting us.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Any disputes arising from the use of this Platform shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Imo State, Nigeria.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. We will notify users of significant changes via email or an in-app notice.
